How do I optimize my Web site for a specific key word?
How can I convince the Google robot that my keywords use the word cat and my page is optimized with the word "cat" more than "cats web". I want Google search to list me under the word "cat": I am listed at the number 3 spot on the first page of a Google search if you use the words "cats web" or #1 on the 1st page if you use "cats web page"
Should I leave everything alone or should I go for the better listing? My site is "A Cats Web Page of Rawhawk & the Hooligans" at rawhawk.net. I have tried to relist with Google a few months ago but, the search stayed the same?

how can get get the most optimization and ranking possible? i know everyone asks the same ? but i know there has to be a way of breaking the bank and be #1!!!!!!!!

Thats a good question and one that Im reading up on at the moment. Even though I dont have the answer it will be interesting to see the posts.

If you are required to optimize your website for particular keyword, these important steps should be give the advantage:
*write unique, quality content and consider the keywords density.
*Build maximum in bound links with 100% relevancy.
You should checkout the website optimizer at http://optimizer.builtwith.com the free version tells you what keywords are most in use on your page and how likely they are to rank in search engines.
